The works also included foundation beams, repairs to existing structures and the subsequent installation of new safety barriers. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Operational challenges<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Works were carried out under live traffic conditions, with activities managed through partial lane closures and careful planning to minimise disruption. In some areas, the works were also carried out under asbestos risk conditions, requiring dedicated procedures, specific protective equipment and emission control systems during drilling. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project helped improve the safety of the infrastructure by delivering new foundations in a complex operating environment spread over several kilometres.
